GAS Letter Support
Gender Affirming Surgery letters are an additional barrier for trans folks to access medically neccesary surgeries and othe rmedical interventions. Learning how to write letters for trans and non-binary folks is one way that clinicans can support this marginalized community.
Letter Writing
Do you want to be able to write GAS letters but you feel intimidated? Do you feel like you have the hang of it but you have some questions you still need answers to? I offer one-on-one 60 minute trainings or consultations for clinicans who need support writing GAS letter. I work from an informed consent model and feel strongly aligned to the values of the Gender Affirming Letter Writing Project. During our time together we'll review the basics, get your questions answered, and help you develop a letter writing policy that works best for you and your clients.
