WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY?

I currently am unable to take insurance. For clients seeking psychotherapy in the state of Pennsylvania I can provide itemized invoices. If your insurance includes out-of-network coverage you may be able to get reimbursed directly through them.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

My fee is 250 for a 50 minute session. In order to be more accessible half of my appointments are sliding fee scale. Please inquire about availability.  I do not charge a fee for Gender Affirming Letter appointments.

HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?

I provide both short term and long term services based on your specific needs.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THERAPY AND COACHING?

I am trained as a Clinical Social Worker and am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I use primarily Relational and Narrative approaches. More recently I've incorporated Somatic and Internal Family System interventions. My PhD is in Human Sexuality Education and in addition to private practice, I've worked in education, reproductive health, and trans health settings.

This unique combination of skills and training allows me to provide both therapy and coaching. I practice therapy with clients who are in the state of Pennsylvania and looking to help manage the symptoms of depression or anxiety, are healing from trauma, or looking for general mental health support.

The coaching I offer is more solution-oriented. In my coaching practice, I work with my clients to help them resolve the specific issue they are bringing into session. If you're curious which modality is the right one for you, please ask and we can figure it out together.
